We previous talked about how often equate Winter months as the time that plumbing issues can occur, but they can also occur in the Summer months.

Here are just a few more of the issues you may find yourself facing during those warm weather months:

Parties!

Summer is the time that we love to entertain at our house.  Lots of friends, food and fun! Be aware that, with an increase in the number people, you may find an increase in the number of clogged drains, clogged toilets and even clogged disposals. Be sure to keep on top of it as you entertain during the summertime.

Leaks

Stressed pipes from the heat and increased usage from the pool, garden hoses and even sprinklers can cause unexpected leaks.  You can stay on top of it by checking often for leaks as well as watching your usage.

Structural Damage

Believe it or not, UV rays can really take a toll on exposed pipes and can even break or crack them.  Try to protect your exposed pipes as much as possible and be vigilant in checking them.
