Think You Might Have a Sewer Line Leak?

Underground water leaks can be really tough to detect and can sometimes result in unnecessary repairs.

What are some of the signs of a potential sewer line problem?

The sound of constantly running water. If your faucets are all turned off and you still hear what sounds like water running in the walls, you may have a sewer line issue.

Floors that feel are discolored or feel moist. As seeping water pools around leaks can cause moisture in the floors which results in damage.

An unpleasant odor. Enough said.

Unusual landscape growth or sunken, wet patches.  With a potential sewer line leak, the waste water will settle and cause changes in your landscape that are noticeable.

A sudden presence of rodents. A sewer line leak will attract rodents with the addition of all of the waste water.

An unexpected spike in your water bill.  Notice your bill has gone sky high?  That’s definitely a sign that something isn’t right with your plumbing and it could be your sewer line.
